Clarke Family | Palm Beach, FL
One of the things I love most about my job is the amazing people that you meet - or in this case the amazing people you already know and get to catch up with :)
Alex was my high school volleyball coach and it was so fun to touch base after all these years! The last time we saw each other, I was in high school and awkward and she was in her first year of coaching at Benjamin. Since then, I graduated college and got married and she and her husband had their adorable son Kason and Benjamin's volleyball team is on their way to the State Championships! I'm only kind jealous but mostly really really happy for them :)
Social media certainly has it's faults but it's also really great to tell people that you've decided to give this whole photography thing a try so thanks Alex for following along all these years :)
We did this shoot outside of Flagler Museum- aka the areas along the bike path because you can't actually photograph on the grounds unless you're hosting an event there. (Maybe if you go during hours you can get away with it? I don't know, I'm a super-rule follower so it's not something I was comfortable enough trying.)
I think this might be one of my favorite settings so far! A good beach setting is hard to beat but sometimes you just need some good green and those palm beach hedges- major love for those!
I also have to give a shout out to the Clarke Family- thank you guys so much for running like crazy people to both avoid harsh sunlight but then be in that beautiful warm light that I live for.
I have been so fortunate to work with such amazing families that are up for anything and totally go with the flow and I need them all to know that this is a HUGE part of why I can get the photos that I do, so thank you all :)
