There's something so great about just having a lazy Sunday at home and last weekend Ry and I had our first one in a long time. It was perfect because we ran a couple of errands in the morning (just enough to feel productive) and then came home and relaxed.

I've been wanting to do an apartment shoot for a while 1) because I absolutely love the look of our apartment. It's fun but calming colors and traditional while being comfortable. We're so lucky because for a graduation/ "welcome to the real world" present my parents furnished our apartment so we don't look like college students anymore. And 2) I want to be able to look back and see our first place together and cherish the start of our life together.

Also, yes, I stole the portrait in front of the window idea from Amber Fillerup's posts here and here because I loved how at home they felt and even though I made Ryan pose, at home is where we truly can be ourselves.

We're excited to be spending this weekend home as well before Ryan has to start traveling again and wedding season comes in full force!
