A Day With The Animals
~ Shorts: Caslon (old but really cute patterns here) / Tank: Honestly, think I got it Marshalls two years ago? lol but similar here / Shoes: Old Navy (so comfy and under $20!) / Bag: Longchamp (probably one of my favorite bags ever)
Ryan's sister Torey got us passes to Lion Country Safari for Christmas and Ryan and I finally made it out there this past weekend! Ry didn't believe me that you literally drove through where the animals live and that they can come right up to your window. We avoided the ostriches intently- they're the most terrifying to me!
If you live in South Florida and haven't made it out there, you definitely need to go. It was so much fun but I recommend going early in the day before it gets too hot and sooner versus later because soon it becomes a huge summer camp hot spot.
After the driving tour, they have a great little park with a petting zoo, a place to feed the giraffes, a merry go round, and so much other fun activities. (Ry wouldn't go on the merry go round with me because we were easily the oldest people there without children so there's that.)
I don't rock the braided pig tails often but I thought they were perfect for a fun adventure outside! I bought these old navy sandals a couple of weeks ago and they were so inexpensive and they are so comfortable! (Fun fact: I wore them for our Lion Country Safari and then dressed them up for date night later one- stay tuned for that post!)
I've had these shorts for probably three or four years now but so much of my comfy clothes are Caslon- if you haven't tried them you definitely need to. I live in the shorter version of this skirt and own every color of this shirt- they are affordable and so comfortable!
